Classes are held throughout the week in a number of disciplines

 

Pre-School Class

Children from 2 and a half years begin with our pre-school class. This is a general introduction to dance, each class based around a story allowing the children the opportunity to imagine, explore and be creative through movement. Formal ballet and tap training then commences for the rising four year olds.

 

Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz and Street

These classes are held with examination progression in the IDTA grades and major syllabi. Teacher training is also provided. We recommend that every child should take a ballet class alongside other subjects.

 

Performing Arts

Every Saturday at 1pm-2.20pm for 5-14 year olds. It covers the full spectrum of performing arts and will include drama, song and dance. All children in the class will be included in the Civic Theatre Show, Rotherham in 2011. The class is led by Jenna Stevenson BA(Hons) Drama.
